a need to know guide on how to travel abroad

Written by Anais Gamboa

Let’s face it, we’ve been staying in one spot for way too long. I don’t know about you but I’m ready for a change of course in life!

The past two years have been nothing but rough, so what better way to change things up than taking advantage of the freedom to travel again?

More and more lately the growth in interest of exploring new places has increased tremendously, especially considering how travel has finally picked back up. But you may be wondering: ”I can’t remember the last time I went out of the country, how am I ever going to plan this out?”

Have no fear! Your friendly travel guide Anais is here! *flowy super hero cape appears out of nowhere*

I’m heading to Paris, France for a month soon enough, and I’m going to be walking through with you, all the steps I take to make this trip the most affordable, safest, and smartest trip I can. It’s not easy planning trips out, and since the pandemic is still circling around, being safe is the most important thing to pay attention to.

How to be Safe During Travel

There has been some slight hesitation with travel, even though all the travel restrictions are down again. It’s totally understandable to feel that uneasy feeling about making trips. However, here are a few helpful tips that kept me feeling good and also that have helped my travel buddies during my recent travels to Europe back in 2021.

  • Vitamin C Packets

Boost up your immune system as much as you possibly can. I would take these packets with me and put them in my carry on or book bag. Using these before you get on, during and after, really help to keep you from feeling that normal fatigue energy.

  • Wipes and Hand Sanitizers

Although they claim to really scrub down these airports and airplanes, don’t test your luck. In every airport and plane, I would wipe down every seat, counter top, and seat belt. I might have looked like a crazy germ freak but hey, I rather be safe than sorry.

  • Essential Oils

Yes you read that right, essential oils. Along with boosting your immune system, essential oils can help tremendously. Personally, I take my travel sized On Guard essential oil by doTERRA. It helps give you the boost you need to get through your long way to your destination.

All the links you need to find these helpful tips are below! So excited to help you all enjoy your trip in the safest and smartest way possible! stay tuned for more.
